EOC Awarded $100,000 Grant from Impact 100

We are thrilled to receive a $100,000 Impact 100 Grant to expand our Early Bird Early Childhood Education Program for 3-year-olds to Gifford. Beginning in August 2018, we will serve 17 children from the Dodgertown School Zone in a modular classroom to be located on the campus of Dodgertown Elementary School. Early Bird mirrors the Head Start Program but is fully funded with local dollars as no Head Start funding is available to serve additional children. Early Bird was established in the 16-17 school year and has been serving 17 children a year at its classroom located on the campus of Indian River Academy in South Vero.
