EOC has a tripartite board structure; one-third elected officials (or their designees); one-third low-income representatives; and one-third members of private for-profit or non-profit organizations. The Board meets eight times a year; two of these meetings are joint meetings with the Head Start Parent Policy Council, and one is a two-day Annual Training Retreat with the board, staff, and Policy Council for long and short-range planning. The Board conducts an annual self-assessment of all programs for continual improvement. The Board meets the third Thursday of January, March, April, May, June, August, September,  October and November at 6:30pm. All meetings are held at the EOC offices with the exception of the June and November meetings – call for location and time.  Board Meeting Schedule
