The Board of Directors of Economic Opportunities Council of Vero Beach (EOC) is pleased to announce that Angela Davis-Green will be the new Executive Director of the agency. She started on June 26. Ms. Davis-Green comes to EOC with 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She was most recently employed by the Early Learning Coalition, where she was Director of Family Services. Prior to that, she worked with the Agriculture and Labor Program of FL (ALPI) – Head Start.
“It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Mr. Edwards”, says Linda McConkey, EOC Board Chair; “but, at the same time, we look forward to a bright future for the agency under the leadership of Ms. Davis-Green.”
Ms. Davis-Green says she is “looking forward to working with the staff at EOC and community partners to ensure all children in Indian River and Okeechobee County’s Head Start Program are prepared for school and that families are able to maintain economic self-sufficiency.”
